Your local American Red Cross now offers the KNOW HIV/AIDS Prevention Education courses! We have the 2 hour, 4 hour, and 7 hour options available several times a month.
The 2 hour course meets the state requirements for being a child or adult care provider, adoptive parent or foster parent.
The 4 hour course is appropriate for registered counselors and social workers, massage therapists, and pharmacy assistants, as well as veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
The 7 hour* course is designed for health care professionals including nurses, nursing assistants adn nursing students, acupuncturists, Adult Family Home managers/providers, dentists and dental hygienists and dental assistants, health care assistants, midwives, naturopathic physicians, pas, pharmacists, psychologists, radiology techs and x-ray techs.
August 30th, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.*
September 13th, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.*
September 22nd, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Cost: $12 for 2 hour course, $24 for 4 hour course, $42 for 7 hour course*

Will you know what to do when your pet needs help?
Your pet depends on your for his or her well-being. In addition to providing daily care, love and affection, your best friend depends on you in an emergency. Whether your pet becomes ill or injured, or needs help in a disaster, the American Red Cross can help!
We offer a Pet First Aid class that is for pet owners and lovers. This class offers first aid and CPR skills for your favorite dog or cat.
Please call us for information on the next Pet First Aid Class!
Cost: $35 Pre-Registration is Required.
Includes: One first aid book for either a dog or a cat. A second book can be purchased for $16.95.

Cost: $45 Pre-Registration is Required
Includes: Handbook, backback with starter first aid kit, Child & Infant CPR/First Aid/Child Care training.
